Terms of Service
The agreement between your pump and us. Written to be read.
In effect from 1 June 2026
1. Who you are agreeing with
These terms are between the entity named at the foot of this page, which provides the Maxify Fuels service, and the business that subscribes to it — referred to here as "you".
Tax invoices for your subscription are raised by the billing entity named on our GST & compliance page. Under section 16 of the CGST Act your input tax credit rests on the GSTIN that issued the invoice, so that is the entity to reconcile your credits against.
By creating an account, subscribing, or letting your staff use the service, you accept these terms on behalf of your business and confirm you are authorised to do so.
2. What we provide
A subscription to the Maxify Fuels application: the daily operating loop for a petrol pump, along with the inventory, non-fuel billing and payroll features included in your plan.
The service is provided over the internet and runs in a browser or on a phone. No hardware is supplied, and you are responsible for the devices and connectivity your team uses.
We improve the product continuously. Features may be added, changed or retired; where a change materially reduces functionality you rely on, we will give you reasonable notice.
3. Accounts and your team
You create accounts for your owners, managers and attendants, and you are responsible for what those accounts do. Keep credentials confidential, remove access when someone leaves, and tell us promptly if you suspect an account has been compromised.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what your team enters. Maxify computes from the readings and collections it is given; it cannot detect a reading that was written down wrong on purpose.
4. Fees and billing
Pricing is per pump, per month, on the plan you choose. Annual terms are billed yearly in advance at the discounted rate shown on the pricing section; monthly terms are billed monthly in advance.
Prices are exclusive of GST, which is charged additionally at the applicable rate. Invoices are raised electronically and are payable on receipt unless agreed otherwise in writing.
If your pump count changes, your subscription adjusts from the following billing period. We may revise prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal; you may decline by not renewing.
5. Your data stays yours
Everything you and your team put into Maxify — readings, ledgers, invoices, employee records — belongs to you. You grant us only the permission needed to host, process and display it in order to run the service for you, and to keep secure backups.
We do not sell it, and we do not use your operational data to train anything or to inform anyone else's account. Aggregate, fully anonymised statistics that cannot identify you or your business may be used to improve the product.
The Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled, including the split of responsibility for your employees' records.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to break the law, or to record transactions you know to be false.
- Attempt to access another business's account or data.
- Probe, scan or test the security of the service without our written permission.
- Resell, sublicense or white-label the service without an agreement allowing it.
- Interfere with the service's operation, or place a load on it designed to degrade it for others.
7. Payroll and deductions
This clause matters more than most, so it is stated plainly. Maxify calculates. You decide, and you employ.
Where you activate a deduction policy, the product links a flagged discrepancy to an employee's payroll as a penalty deduction, applies the caps you configure, and shows the reason. Deductions default to zero until you activate a policy — the product will never invent one.
You remain the employer and are solely responsible for compliance with employment and wage law, including the Payment of Wages Act 1936, which permits deductions only on specified grounds and caps total deductions at 50% of wages payable in a wage period. The product enforces that ceiling as a backstop; it does not, and cannot, decide whether a particular deduction is lawful or fair in your circumstances. Take your own advice before activating a policy.
8. Availability and support
We work to keep the service available continuously, and support is provided in English, Hindi and Malayalam through the channels on our contact page.
We do not commit to a specific uptime percentage unless it is written into a separate agreement with you. Planned maintenance is scheduled outside a pump's busiest hours wherever we can, with notice where it is likely to be noticed.
9. Liability
The service is a record-keeping and calculation tool. It is not accounting, tax, legal or employment advice, and it does not replace your own verification of your books.
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of these terms in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud.
10. Ending the agreement
There is no lock-in. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period; fees already paid for that period are not refunded unless the law requires it.
We may suspend or terminate an account for non-payment, or for a serious or repeated breach of the acceptable-use clause, after telling you and giving you a fair chance to fix it where the breach can be fixed.
On termination you may export your data during a reasonable wind-down window, after which it is deleted in line with the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes take effect at your next renewal, or 30 days after we notify you, whichever is later. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts named at the foot of this page have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
